#Rufus iso image extraction download driver#
The reason I'm trying to create a bootable USB is the system I'm installing on has driver issues with the DVD drive. Note : In the latest version of Rufus (3.5), there’s now an option to download the ISO image for Windows 8.1 or 10 directly through Rufus, if you don’t already have a copy saved. but I have created a bootable DVD with this ISO image (I downloaded the image straight from Microsoft) and it seems to boot and run OK. Rufus will open a file explorer browser window locate the ISO image you want to burn onto the USB and select it. I suspect it has to do with "Error reading UDF file \boot\en-us\".
